Meet the Owner

Hi, I am Lancelot DaSilva

I own and operate Humanity Soil. We are a family owned business and I am personally on every job ensuring each project is done properly with attention to detail. You'll have the pleasure of scheduling with my wife and once she hands the project to me the real fun begins! My background is different than most in my field. The business has grown into what it is partly because I take the same approach in land clearing as I did in IT. Everything needs to be perfect and attention to detail is the name of the game!

I wanted to ensure in my approach to land development that I put our beautiful planet first. My passion is to help develop more arable land for farming and recreational use. We intend on doing this by using the principles defined in the LEED Green Building Rating System and Permaculture Design. We will sustainably develop the land by monitoring and limiting our use of natural resources and recycling our waste as much as possible.
